i found a brand new D1SC for $850

i'm trying to figure out my budget, i'm going to try to jump on this. if procharger is going to charge 800 for a rebuild i would be MUCH better off going with this head unit. i found it on craigslist but its out of state. the guy said he can ship it to me, its brand new and still has the tag on it and its never even had oil.

He said he can send it tomorrow if i call him up with a card number. i told him i want his first and last name and i want to use an escrow. anyone know how the escrow works, i'm not trying to get scammed out of $850 right now, knowing my luck its likely to happen but i'm trying to do the best i can.

Ideas/thoughts?

Make sure its the right headunit for the new edges. Get the serial number first before anything

sounds legit. he just gave me his name and phone number. he is the owner of BNT-Performance, it has a website and i also looked him up on facebook. his name matches his email address. i think i'm gonna go for it. oh and the shop is in Wilmington, NC if anyone is close.

I would call ati in the morning, after you get the seriel number, and then let them check it real quick. Thatll take 5 minutes. If its good, then do it.

i believe the rotation is counterclockwise on this blower. i'm pretty sure the only difference is the actual compressor housing. the internals should be the same, just different hats.
