Injectors

I was wondering what itd take to put the mach 1 injectors on and 04 GT. Do the 04 GTs have the EV6? do the mach 1s have EV6? i dont know what is what. thanks

im *pretty sure* they are a straight change-over. someone else can chime in on that. EV(#) is the plug style. if you can, just to make sure they will work, look at a pic. of the plug on the injector. i think the Mach's had 24lb/hr injectors where as we have 19's in our car.

haha, i just looked at those because i need a set of 24lb injectors and a MAF from a 99/01 Cobra. i found a guy with a MAF and injectors like those and ordered them. im relatively sure they DO fit but i am gonna find out for sure when they get here. i real sure our cars have the square plugs like those injectors and they are a ford injector so i bet its a plug-and-play deal.

well i have a mach 1 MAF on the way and didnt know if those would match up

i think you will want the 24's then. im almost positive the machs/cobras (except 03/04) used 24lb injectors with that MAF. it should be a matching calibration on the MAF to them injectors i guess is what im trying to say

the 01+ mustangs are ev6. the injectors will interchange.

so my '02 has 19# injectors?

Is there any reason on these cars to step up to something large - say 24# - if you have basically no mods? (I realize on most cars there's no real gain unless you simply don't have the volume, and that's after a decent amount of mods)

No reason unless you can get better injectors for the same price as the stock injectors.
