Steeda x2 ball joint's

Hey guys got a shit load of squeaking going on in my front end and I'm pretty damn sure it's the ball joints and since the balljoint's raise the wheel's location if I leave out the spacers they send for the spring I'll gain a lil lowering won't I? Just wanted to be sure I got it right before I buy and install them then have to tear it back down cause I'm sitting like a 1/2" higher than I was...

The spacers are used to maintain the same ride height as before. What are you using the car for? Do you roadrace or autox the car?

Rly? I thought it would only be like a 1/2" lower... I'm lowered already...but was just thinking that this way I'd sit about level cause right now I'm higher up frnt...and I wouldn't have to take my springs back out

The amount of drop should be the height difference in the ball joints.

The spacer won't tell you due to it's location on the control arm.

Sweet that would be perfect...one other thing I know you need to drill the hole out to 5/8's and it needs to be tapered right? So I was wandering where I can get a the tapered bit

i installed my 2x, bump steer and springs at same time. my 2x were shiped with out spacers by accindent. no instruction, so i did'nt know any better. so heres a pic of mine with out spacers. ps on rough roads i do get a little bump steer.

so can you tell me how thick spacers are? my drivers side rubs just a little bit, on tight exit ramps. LOL
I think when you install 2x with out spacers you are defeating the purpose. the 2x are not design to lower car

I have them installed, I had them installed first without spacers but it was too low with the 1.7in drop I already had. If u use it without the spacers it will drop it another .5.
