Front sway bar?

Iv hear of people removing their front sway bar.. What exactly does this do? Do they do it jus for the track or leave it off?? Thanks

If u take it off ur handling will suffer. Won't handle as good at all, I think it's somethin for people who have a aggressive drag setup ups, Saves weight too but if it's ur DD I'd leave it on.

helps weight transfer. some people take it on & off, mines been off for years with no complaints though.

That's what I was thinking but didn't know if it's worth it or not don't mind doing it when I get to the track but don't want to if it's not worth it

if your serious about the track, it's worth it. an ocasional trip to test n tune, dont bother.

Without a SB ur gonna have some increase in body roll but if it's a drag car it will help u launch better

I'd leave it off period. if you're not shure, take it off & drive around a couple of days, you can always put it back on if you don't like it. you probubly wouln't even notice its gone.

Well one off my frame bushings fell out any way so I guess I'll try it with it off!

if you've been driving without one of the frame bushing's, you pretty much don't have a swaybar now, if it rides/drives ok now to you, you'll be fine with it off.

Yea it's the passenger side bushing fell out two days after I got it!! And there any where from $28-$40 depending on the size of the bar and idk the size!

your not gonna flip your car over 'cause of not having a swaybar & if you do flip it over, its 'cause you were driving like an idiot, the swaybar would not have saved it in that case anyway. no my car hasn't been a D/D since day one.
