Well, I have one lead on a Prochamber. If the muffler replacement does not fix it, then I am going to order the Prochamber. We will see if the 10th time is a charm.

All in all I like the sound of this Xpipe. I just can not stand that resonance at certain RPM's and at decel. It literally sounds like someone has a coffee can filled with change and is shaking right next to your ear. A bad vibration. I am hoping it is the muffler.

That "rattling" coffee-can sound though is also a symptom of a bad baffle too. So that could tone it down quite a bit if it gets fixed...

It will get fixed. I went to Summit last night. They looked through all my past receipts and found my old receipt from Sept 07 when I bought the flows. The manager told me that as long as I have no hard strikes to the mufflers, he will swap out the catback for me under warranty. He said scrapes are normal, but no bad dents.

Well have you heard steeda with an o/r x? There is one on you tube and it sounds dam good and it was my first choice for a cat-back but the magnapacks were on sale for 450$ and I love them also.

I have not heard anything from Steeda. I think the Magnaflow is what I will be going to try next if the warranty deal falls through.

Way too much of a hassle on these cars. Plus then I have to buy a new midpipe anyway, and would go ahead and get the Prochamber since that one is available at most places. Thanks though.

LOL. I ain't scared of them homie. Not at all. I was just trying to find the most cost effective and bang for the buck method of doing this. I would have bought a catted pipe if I bought it new. I got what I consider a good deal on this pipe. That is the only reason I ain't gots no mutha fuggin catz! lol

If I get the Prochamber they don't even make a catted model. I would prefer it actually.

This may work out for you as Summit is right by you. The 2 cats I welded into my o/r on my GT were just universal hi-flow cats (Summit Brand). Never had any problems with them and they weren't too expensive.
