Will shortys still gain me power


okay i have a supercharged mustang and for the holidays my parents were thining of getting me something for the car soo i taught bout shorty headers ( longtubes is out of budget) that and the only other bolt ons missing are TB and plenum. What do u guys think i should do i alrdy have full suspension.

ha okay.. ima try and get long tubes out of them do u think it will make a huge diff getting longtubes on a blown GT ?

+1...TB and plenum on a centri setup should get you a nice gain for less dough and less labor ......def get long tubes down the road though

those are decnt pieces from what I hear...I dont know what your track rules are or even if you plan on runnin at the track but I've been told that if you move the battery you have to run an external electric shut off switch...

i think its the satin silver cause i kno for sure its not the metallic silver.. but i have a white v6 rear bumper and the cars paint sucks !!!

I agree, Id do TB and Plenum before headers in general. Your car is definatley chocked off being blown and the stock 65mm TB and plenum. You should get a C&L Plenum with a 75mm Throttle Body before headers bro.

But since thats not the answer to your question, yes you will see a gain with the shorties, especially being supercharged. And plus the stock cast iron exhaust manfolds weigh a lot. But, since you already need to drop the K member for shorties, might as well get some Longtubes. Definatley more money, but much better gain HP wise.
