you will need to buy some sort of break in additive as well. might have to go to your local speed shop or something like that. What you are looking for is a zinc additive.

Rotella t used to be the deal for the zink additive in the oil but now it looks like it is no more.... actually, now that i think of it, the zinc was used to prolong the life of cars with flat tappet cam shafts so in your case, if you are rollerized, don't sweat the zinc so much but definately break in with conventional oil.

I'll warn ya now, that bob is the oil guy sight will suck you in for a while.

didn't read all the thread...

but, there is def. a difference between all the filters...i would only use motorcraft or wix. wix is an awesome filter and out of a whole comparison book (which is why i would only use these two) the wix is probably the best and the motorcraft is up there...as well as the napa gold which is essentially the same
