solid motor mounts.....


Which ones do i need to go with? Post a link please? I want to get these things ordered fairly quickly. Want solid motor mounts as i think it would help shake the car alot more at idle.

Good to know there's no issues. Did you notice a big difference as far as the feeling of the car when you're in the seat? Like vibrations or more noise or anything?

Same Exact ones i have Great Fitment with no issues but when i got mine in the mail they were all black and not chrome plated as they look in the pictured but the black looks good IMO

I hope I don't feel vibrations as that would be an issue with the engine. It keeps the engine from moving in the car.

good. We have a 69 mach 1 with a "351 cobra jet" motor. And it wraps around the motor like crazy! Thats what i want the ole 4.6 to do. my cams will help too! Maybe i can get my tuner to have the idle rpms as low as possible to lope harder. lol.

Yea it will sound cool but it might not be ideal for getting out of the hole like it should but who knows you might be ok.

I have poly's still in the box...Im debating about tradin em for solids...How much of a bitch is it to get at the top two bolts on a 3650 when you cant tilt the motor back? lol

I tilt the motor forward and break them loose from up top with a wrench and once there out a few turns they come out by hand and its alot easier then busting your ass trying to get to em under the car.And i have done it with the solids with the nuts almost all the way off the mounts (only on a few turns) the motor still tilts fairly well.

its possible to loosen the mounts without takin out the front springs right? you know that arched piece of tin back there that holds all the wiring and is held in place by the top bolts? what freakin retard designed that thing?! probably the same one that designed a manual transmission that the bell housing doesnt come off of! lol

Yea. Ive swapped mounts out in the car with the motor and everything still in place there is plenty of room under there the drivers side is a tad harder for sure but the pass side is so easy it makes up for the aggravation of the drivers side lmao.

The T-5s had a removable bell i loved it on my last car it was much nicer with it lol.

And that piece your talking about must just be on the 99+ cars because i don't belive i have anything like that back there lol

if this 3650 ever takes a dump its def either gettin a t-45 (cheaper quick fix) or a t56...that bracket I was takin about hold the wiring for the front o2's and also the wire loom for the rear o2's and all the tranny sensors...that little area is so tight back there lol
