t-bolts

So I am t-bolting me intercooler piping and since they are 3in pipes do I get 3.0in t-bolts for 2.75 t-bolts?

2.75in - Actual clamping ability is 2.87" to 3.19".

3.00in - Actual clamping ability is 3.11" to 3.43".

The thing is the other 10 I already bought were all 3in ones....

I hope to order the rest of my t-bolts and connectors tomorrow.

I may just use a Advanced AutoParts air filter b.c I AM NOT paying 55 bucks for one from Procharger!

I ordered my injectors today too!

So after t-bolts, inlet connector, and air filter all I need it

AFR gauges
Fuel Pump( xmas gift)
and mounting bracket but I am ordering that on the 26th! SO CLOSE guys!

Your piping is 3", but you've got to factor in the thickness of the sleeves that connect the piping. I would say the sleeves are AT LEAST 1/8-3/16" thick, so you're going to have an extra 1/4"-3/8" of stuff to clamp down. Given that I'd say you'd have to use the 3" Tbolts.

You already have 3" T bolts, go out and try one...

yeah i just didn't want to tighten it done and mess the locker up on the nut. but thanks I am ordering the rest of them now!

Measure the diameter of the couplings and that tell you what size you need.

NP, it'd be pretty shitty to spend $50 bucks and not have them fit when you got to clamp em down

haha yeah. I think they will if not I will return them for exchanged t-bolts. I will clamp them all down with I have them all here! I am getting closer!
