Flowmasters + ?
Well,
I already put in Flowmaster 40's. It is throaty..but now I want a litttle more (addict). Without having to get rid of the Flowmasters what can I add to exhaust for an even meaner sound? |

The O/R H will make it deeper and a bit louder without the cats, but a O'R X will make it even louder. The only catch is with a X pipe flows don't always sound so good at higher RPMs and they can sometimes drone.

either way, the x or h pipe make a mustang sound so much better.... i have the h pipe and my friend has the x pipe with flowmasters....i love the sound of his until we take it on any form of road trip , then it gets annoying.....but i love the deeper sound of mine 24-7

The stock h pipe has 4 cats. It's well worthit to get rid of it.

HUGE difference between stock H and catless H.... I have all factory exhaust except midpipe (for now).... and she sounds as good or better than my buddies trans with flowmasters...

Or just buy a Catted H pipe with high flow cats. The sound will be a little quieter, but it will still sound better than stock. Look into a catted prochamber too. They sound really good too.

Well if u look at my videos ill post the links, u can hear what a catless h-pipe sounds like with Flowmaster 40's. I don't know what brand of h-pipe it is but my best bet is its a MAC, because most of all the other parts I bought the car with were MAC.
here is the topic with my videos http://www.moddedmustangs.com/forums...s-vt15820.html And oh by the way I pass emissions here in CO with my settup. |
