I bought a 2002 gt with 37000 miles on it. When i walked on the lot the sticker price was 16990. I traded in a 94 camaro (hated that car). They gave me 5000 for the trade in but i would say it was worth 3000. is this a good deal. I am only paying 12000 out of pocket. So total i feel i got it for 15000 is that good or?????

i bought my 02 last march from a smaller dealer for 12,500 w/ 50,000 miles...

i would see if they would come off of that price a bit, but congrats on them giving you that much for the camaro

It's a good deal. They mark the car up higher than it's value, then give you more for your trade to make it seem like your are getting this really great deal, but with all things considered you are payng what you should for that car.. It's just a sales tactic, but it's still a good deal.
