Haha, I have broken a shift arm like that before. I made my own, but it was out of real thin metal, and it was brittle. It sucked driving on that nub, luckily I was a couple minutes from home and had a replacement. Currently using the stock one that has been bent to sit how I like it. Man, you got to be nicer to your car, it shouldnt require breaking force to shift.

I have the tri-ax and it's a bit notchy for me. I love it for the street, but I can't get used to shifting quickly with it for racing. I hope to hell I don't break my handle like this though... wow

I pulled my MGW after the first trip to the track. I'll stick with my 7 year old UPR shifter. The MGW gate is too close. I did the old 3rd to 2nd shift trick and said to hell with it. Look around at any NMRA event and you won't find any fast stick cars running the MGW
