I decided on Magnaflows and up them on today...

I thought they would have been at least a little louder considering I have an o/r H pipe on it.. I got rid of the drone from the flowmasters which will help my interstate driving... But right now it sounds like someone castrated my mustang.. It almost sounds stock..

Not sure, i'll need to drive it more, but it feels like I might have lost a little torque on the low end but gained on the high end.. can't really tell yet..

The drone isn't a result of the muffler being loud. There are a lot of loud mufflers that don't drone. The drone occurs between 1800-2200 rpm which is interstate cruising speed with stock gears. The design of the Flowmaster muffler causes a resonating vibration that just beats on your ears. Not really bad on short trips. On long trips they are almost unbearable. I remember a post from a guy who took his first long trip with Flowmaster 40s. He said his ears were about to explode.

I actually thought Magnaflows were only marginally quieter than Flowmasters. They don't drone and in my opinion sound great outside the car.
