My magnaflows from my magnaflow cat back is loud as hell WOT, sounds like the sky is falling, so quiet ideling though compared to flowmaster 40s, When i put my cams in it made it deeper and louder at idle but still not like 40s and a little quieter WOT, ordering 40s next check

like 6k miles, and na not really quiet, didnt notice a difference over time but im sure they got louder like every packed muffler, they've always been quiet at idle compared to cars at the track and on the street, cant even hear it unless its cold but the supercharger and cams made it alot louder cause the air it pumps

Thats weird, I have magnaflow weld in with o/r h and it is real loud, people can hear me blocks away and I can drown out harleys with ease and only at part throttle. love the idle. I do have a supercharger and cams with tune. I need to quiet it down!! lol

I have magnapacks and love them. They have a nice rumbly idle, but you will hear me when I get on it! This is with a Steeda catted X-pipe.

Get someone to drive your car and listen to them from the outside.

I love my regular magnaflows. i am running them with longtubes and an o/r x and it is plenty loud. It is nice and mellow while cruising yet still loud enough without catching the police's attention. at WOT it SCREAMS. i get compliments all the time

OP- It's only been one day man!
Keep in mind you're going from a busted-hole-in-it muffler to the Magnaflows...
It's gonna be quiter. Give it some time, drive it around for a while, check out the sound from outside like Eagle2K said...

Remember, at the moment your ears are tuned to a wide open muffler sound. Let the new set up sink in before you get nuts and blow more cash or get all down on yourself..

You're probably gonna love'em with the H-pipe, just give your ears time to adjust.

If you still don't like it after a while, save up $$, do some diggin, and get an entire top-down exhaust set up that is exactly what you want.

You got some great mufflers dude-

Yeah I know.. I just wanted to make sure they weren't going to stay that quiet forever... I'd really like to put LT's on it at some point, but being that I'm getting married, and graduating college soon.. School bills and centerpieces will end of coming before any of that...

Theres a fairly sketchy neighborhood down the street. I was driving through it one night and found a van with a nice car alarm. Backuped up.... 6k rpm later and the whole neighbor hood was up... oh I was laughing so hard....

I guess no one likes spintechs or aeros huh lol I can't stand the drone from flowmaster or magnaflow the names sound the same and so do their mufflers. You guys must have really trained ears to notice a big difference between the two.

What are you talking about? flows and Magnas sound completely different, and their a completely different system. Flows are baffeled, and magnas are straight through. Flows are raspy and have drone. Magnas only have a bit of drone around 2k rmps, and are very clean sounding.
