Will Magnaflows get louder?

I bought Magnaflows for my GT today.. I don't really like them. They are about as quiet as stock. I have an O/R H pipe so I didn't think it could possibly be this quiet.

I heard somewhere that they get louder after some miles. Anyone know if this is true? How much louder?

they'll get decently louder after a few thousand miles.

will they compare any with flowmasters? Not the tone, just the volume level..

what ive hurd about magnaflows is that at WOT its loud as can be but when just idling its as quite as stock. im guessing its ment for the people who dont like to hear their exhaust all the time only when they floor it.

Wide Open Throttle (pedel to the floor)

Idk my dad had a Magnaflow catback on his Mach 1, sounded stock and not loud enough. He got an Xpipe and sounded sweeeeet.

Same with mine, I tried Magnaflows with stock H-pipe and sounded gay. Added the X Pipe and sounded good, not nearly as good as it does on the 4V.

If I were you, Id either go X Pipe or Magnapack SLP LM2

ok, I'm trying to eliminate the drone of flowmasters that kills me on the interstate (I drive a lot on it) but still have a nice rumble.

I have the regulars and they get a little louder and ARE NOT AS LOUD AS FLOWS!!! I had my x w/ the Flow Super 44's and now w/ the regular magnaflows and the flows were so much better sound wise but the awful drone has gone bye-bye. I'll take a noise hit just to get rid of the drone

I believe the packs do but I could be mistaken. They're just as loud if not louder then the Super 44's I had with an offroad X pipe and the 44's would drone ridiculously bad

hmm.. well being that i've got an o/r Hpipe.. maybe it wouldn't be the best idea to go w/ the magnapacks.. It could set car alarms off before I changed to magnaflows, I want it a little quieter, but not like it is now..
