Well looks like it's going to be tomorrow. Waiting on a rear end bearing from Ford. So I should have it back mid afternoon tomorrow.

My only question is I know the speedo will be off until I get it tuned (which will be in the near future). I had seen the equation of X=(3.27/4.10)Y where X is the actual speed and Y is the speedometer reading. Would this be correct? This would mean when the speedo reads 90 you are actually going 72. This is assuming tire sizes and such are equivalent.

when i put my 410's in my speedo was way off and it said i was doing 70 at 55 till i got it reflashed and now its just the opposite it says i'm going about 4 mph slower because of the 26 in tall tire i got otherwise it would be dead on. you'll love the gears its like night and day. 1-3 gear is a whole new ballgame.

Then the equation is correct. According to the equation when the speedo reads 70, you would be going roughly 56. Good to know. Also can u not get it re-flashed to accommodate for the change in tire size?

Will your odometer be off too until you get it tuned? In this case, racking up more miles that you're really driving?

Yes, the odometer will put on extra miles that haven't been driven until you get the speedo fixed.

Ok just called my local ford shop that I used to work at they are saying they can recalibrate it for $37. I believe I'll go ahead and have that done since it's going to be 4-6 months before I tune it. Would like to go ahead and get most of my other bolt ons done before tuning.

I didn't think $37 was bad for that at all. He also said they would recalibrate for not running the stock size tire either.

i got all the other easy bolt ons now im looking for the best bang for the buck but the motors got 106000 on the clock so boost and nitrous is out for now looking for some good ideas
