If the piping is less restrictive I can see a aftermarket catback helping a LITTLE bit but no way in hell will u get 15+hp

take someones rwhp and divide it by .85 and you get flywheel.

+1 on everything stated above. You'll see minimal gains and a big differnece in sound until you and the midpipe and headers.

I spent $500 on my Flowmaster catback welded in with 3" tips. I jus noticed a small little tiny bit of HP gain BUT the sound was waaay more noticable. If i were to do it again, i wouldn't! I'd rather buy some nice shiney tips & spend the money on other performance parts.
