Shaving Brake Caliper?

I'm looking to put skinnies up front on my car. How would I go about shaving the brake caliper down?

generally it's not the caliper it's the bracket you'll have problems with. if you take off the wheel you'll see the lower part of the bracket that hangs below the caliper & sticks out a little further than it, thats what usually what needs cut off.

+1^ the gt calipers are what I'm refering to, cobra/mach 1/bullit, will require more work depending on the wheel's you choose.

Angle grinder. We had to shave a good bit off to get my buddies slicks to fit on his lightning.

They're welds, and sorry guys I mean't the bracket haha.

I have a set of 3/8" spacers, would they work without modifying the bracket?

and the fronts did NOT fit even with a 5/16" spacer...we had to cut the bar on the caliper bracket off and use the spacer which thank goodness i picked up just in case (15 bucks for both at pep boys )

i will probably order the 3" wheel studs and knock them in when i get a chance...sure wouldn't hurt to have the added strength and espcially with the spacer up front
