Need help with drivetrain play

So here is the deal i payed some one to install 4 10 gears in my car about a year ago, now it makes a loud clunk when i shift. Any time i shift or let off the gas and hit it again it clunks in the driveshaft. i put the car up on jacks and found that there is a lot of play in the driveshaft. all the u joints seemed fine so it has to be the gears right?

well my question is is there anyway to adjust the gears without having to pull it all apart and shim ( which i have never done before)?
any info would be helpful here not sure what to do.

a side note i would guess the the extra power from the supercharger would cause the rear end to wear so fast?

one last this feel free to chime in on if i should drop down to a 3 73 gear bc i have the supercharger now. if i have to pull it apart again might just do it.

W/ a centri blower like Vortech, you don't need to drop down. Having the steeper gear would actually be better to help get you to the "meat" of the powerband.

Well that's what you get for having a great set of gears for "off-the-line" performance. Did you take your speed limiter off w/ a tuner?

what kind of play are you talking about? up/down, rotational? still sounds like a u-joint
