3.73's or 4.10's ?
hey i've been reading a lot and i'm not sure whether to go with 3.73s or 4.10s... i heard it was 4.10s for auto and 3.73s for manual... then i read if your lookin to supercharge/turbo to stick with the 3.73s even though it seems 4.10s are what everyone is going for?

3:73's if you are from San Diego. You see the highway too damn much to deal with 4:10's

3.73s if your using poweradders. unless you run a taller tire in the back. then maybe 3.90s or 4.10s to offset it.

Honestly though.. if you "play" on the streets then 3:73's are better for you. I used to live in San Diego. most of the "playing" is on the highways.

As iv read.
Stock gears for turbo applicatons. It lets the turbos spool more. 3.73's for S/C applications becuase it lets you get more benifit from boost. 4.10's are best for N/A

3.73's for roots/twin screw blower
4.10's N/A, Nitrous, Centri Blower I say 4.10's for centri's because the boost doesn't kick in right away and the 4.10's would put you up there quicker. But if you are still torn, just get 3.90's, problem solved.

i have/had (prior to pulling the motor) 427rwhp and i would trade my 373's for 410's any day! Now that im shooting for 550rwhp or so, i guess i can leave the 373's But for anything less than 450rwhp... 410's!!!! And this is coming from the only person that has replied that has a supercharger.
Everyone else is going by what someone else said! lololol! Just playing with you cats!
