I'm just curious. How much would it cost to have an engine builder build a 2v 370 rwhp n/a motor? Would the motor be streetable, as in useful in a daily driver, or are they track only motors?

It would seem to me that since you have to rebuild the entire motor that it might be less expensive to just start with a 4v platform.

i have no clue on labor but to even think about touching 350rwhp on a 2v your going to need EVERY bolt on there is with some nasty cams and decent heads so thoushands of dollards in parts alone

IMO it would be streetable but everybody has their own definitons

as for the 4v, i wouldnt say less expensive becuase your going to have to buy the 4v and 4 cams are twice the price as 2 but it is much easier to get hp out of them as they respond better to mods

put it this way, bolt on 4Vs are making the same power as Cammed 2Vs

if your goal is 370hp (assuming it is since you threw it out there randomly) i HIGHLY doubt your going to hit it with a 2v (as far as i know it hasnt yet been done) but doing it with a 4v would be very easy (bolt ons, psri, ported 03-05 heads, nasty cams = 400rwhp)

I think you would have to do more than that. I'm pretty sure you would have to rebuild the bottom with high compression pistons then balance and blue print for high rpms. If you got to do all of that why not do it on a 4v instead of a 2v?

By the way, I was just curious as to what it would cost. I'm not really interested. I picked 370 rwhp because that what I'm already running with a supercharger.
