^ this is why you can use The Jazzers super-duper, fancy-schmancy electrical upgrade to overcome such restrictions. This is NOT to be confused with The Jazzers super-duper, fancy-schmancy TO return magnet. Or, for that matter... ANY of The Jazzer's super-duper, fancy-schmancy inventions over the last 35 years or so...

Jazzer... pimpin' his wares and feelin' a bit superior at the moment

I was riding with a friend in his son's truck along some back roads. He thought that there was a big problem with the lights. Everytime he turned on the high beams the headlights went out. He had to drive on low beams. We got out to see what was wrong and discovered his son had put dark covers over the headlights and he was actually driving on fog lights. You could see that the headlights were on but they just didn't do any good.

I have found the fog lights on my Mustang to be totally useless. I've turned them off and on in the fog and could tell absolutely no difference.

P.S. The next day his son had to take off the headlight covers.

I have wired my lights in such a way as to have low-beams, high-beams and fogs simultaneously. It is very rare that I run them all at the same time and certainly turn highs and fogs off for oncoming traffic. It is pretty nice to have them when heading in the dark around hills and such with all the deer around here.

I did the same think with my '85 Fox Body, but had a total of all four regular beams (four-eyed Stang, of course) the high-beams on along with 2-100 watt fogs light. That is a total of 8 illuminated bulbs and was WONDERFUL on those dark hill-lined streets.

Jazzer... like

its because when you pull or push to turn on your hi beams I would believe theres a switch that turns your fogs off. So even if your hi beams dont work the fogs turn off due to the switch.

You would need to do what jazzer has so that doesnt happen.
