nice baker.. you should see some of my buddies' welding. one of my friends is a stainless steel tig welder, and a couple others are fabricators. its insane, they would laugh at that weld they are so crazy.

and to the OP, you want to mount the BOV right after the supercharger. if you have to, cut the pipe shorter and get a longer vaccuum hose, you want it as far away from the maf as possible.

If you're running an intercooler you want to put it between the supercharger and the intercooler. If not then between the supercharger and the MAF. You don't want to bleed off metered air. As was mentioned before, if your vacuum line isn't long enough you need to get a new vacuum line.

I haven't taken my Mustang to the track yet. I was going to go last summer but could never find the time and I'm not really happy with the set up. This spring I'm having the Maximum Motorsport rear gripper package installed and hopefully the car will launch a little better. Regardless, I will definitely be going this year. When I do I'll let everyone know. It will be my first time on the track in 35 years. The last time I raced I was driving a '69 Camaro.

P.S. I'm hoping my reaction time won't suck to bad.

Well even if it does suck, reaction time doesn't affect E.T.s. What does affect is 60' foot times, which I currently suck at haha.

where is the best place to mount the BOV on a blow through turbo setup? I see a lot on the outlet side of the intercooler..

Most of them want to roll race. Sometimes in heavy traffic. I don't consider accelerating from 40-60 mph with no finish line a race. Back in the day I did a lot of street racing but it was different. We had lines painted across a remote section of highway 1/4 mile apart. It was set up so that you turned around at an intersection and then staged your cars.
