blow off valve question

why does a blow off valve need a vacuum hose.. (obviously to connect to something) but like does it connect to the egr? or what im just confused.

The vacuum is what opens the valve to release the pressure. The psi blown into it helps keep it closed while in boost.

uhhhhhh. k. soo can i mount the BOV before the MAF .. like 8 inches away from it?????

because the bov kit only comes with a 3 foot vacuum tube. not gonna be long enought to put it anywhere else

put it right after the blower in that first pipe.

problem is the pipe that the bov is connected to is straight and its 12 inches long.

guy is in his 20's. He works for farrah's dad. Main reason they keep him around. He said he just welded it on there like average since it really didnt have to be perfect. I said "damn... you mean you can lay it better than that" and he said hell yeah and laughed. I was like FUCK! Its pretty though!

yeah i think when i get the subframe conn, im going to let him weld them up! I weld descently but that shit is perfect! The way he melts it is just sick! He oughta be in the oil field making 6 times what he is making now!
