pulley options.... Procharger....
All i have is a 3.00 and 2.80 RR pulley for my D1sc. I know that is alot of boost. I should be fine as far as just cranking it and it running. Only way it would make a difference is if i went into boost correct? Just making sure but i believe im right. I just need something on there as far as cranking it up goes. I think ima get the 3.4 from cook before going to the tuner though. I just think the 3.00 might be a lil much right off the bat and considering im still 6rib. I have a oversize procharger idler though that REALLY helps wrap the belt like 95% the way around the blower pulley rather than it just making a 'U' over the pulley.
Im still around stock compression and my tune hasnt changed. Only big change is my stage 2 heads as far as the car running different upon initial start up. but i should be fine eh?

As long as you stay in open loop operation you should be fine, because the engine will be going off of MAF and 02 sensor readings. If you hit closed loop operation and the car just goes off of computer settings, then you'd have a problem. Plus if you never rev your car up fast enough to get out of vacuum and close your BPV, then it doesn't matter what size pulley you have on the head unit because all the boosted air is going to be vented off. The engine will pull in as much air as it needs to run properly if all the sensors are hooked up correctly.

Boost gets you laid

you should be fine running the 3.0" pulley when you're just running the car. dcook is right. before you start the car triple check every nut, bolt, hose, fluid level, clamp, and wire. disconnect all of your coils and crank the car for about 20 seconds so you get some oil pressure. this will give your fuel system enough time to purge while you're doing this too. connect the coils and fire it up! mine started so nicely, it was awesome.

thats a good idea bob, is it recommened to unhook the coils to build up oil pressure anytime you put a new motor in? i've just got my new motor installed and fixing to start it up, prolly wouldnt hurt to unhook em and let them build up pressure.

As long as you stay in vacuum and don't open the throttle very much, the motor won't even know you have a supercharger. That 20 lbs of pressure you're probably generating is just going out the by-pass valve.
