It's painted and glossy, how does it look plastic lol? Look exactly the same as a metal one if it was painted with same stuff; and same size of course (which it wouldn't be).

And ya it is expensive. I rather have plastic than metal on intake anyways, even if the air moves fast enough at WOT to not have heat soak its just one less thing retaining heat in there.

My CAI is half hose and metal and all pieced together :p CUSTOM POS ftw. Started out in the beginning as a cai from kb that sucks.

Mine is by far the ugliest one ever. Up until the accufab big oval But it works i guess!

you have the KB "big tube kit" huh? I have it too...its resting nicely in the box collecting dust while the JLT does duty

Yeah, but its hacked up now. Only using if from in the fender to inside engine, then its metal right before MAF, 4" metal tubing after (both in thickness and length). Going to a intake manifold that puts the 2.6 to shame
