wheel question...
was told 17x9 wheels would stick out past my fender a little, but i was looking at 03 cobra specs and those have 17x9 on the front and they dont stick out. whats the difference in the gt and cobra frons suspensions?

a 17X9 will be fine. Should bring the rim right to the edge of the fender. It's not gonna "poke" if that's what your worried about. As long as you go with correct offset.
