2004 GT IAT Sensor...
As a few members know on here, I'm going to be Vortech supercharging my car in the near future. I was wondering if anyone on here knew where to place the IAT sensor once I purchase one, and where to wire it in? Any help would be appreciated.

in the intake pipe to the blower. They will be a stop on the Vortech intake pipe.

I always thought you wanted after blower temps? Dunno about centri's but thats how the PD blowers go.

Well I am going by my Prochargers intake pipe. The ait sense goes in that. Some may be different. Vortech might be. It may be better to have it after the blower/intercooler.

idk why there are tube opens on the top and that one on the bottom could be the ait sensor.

drill a hole I would assume. I would think is better since your ECU can tell the temp of the air better and make adj. accordingly.

I would drill, and use your favorite substance.... jb weld!! haha. Any spot in manifold/plenum that has plugs that you can undo? My (after blower) manifold has 4-5 plugs for vac lines or other sensors that you can just unscrew and use.

Could use any sealer... silicone would work too. And less permanent.

i dont know scott... Like i said... mine has always just layed in the engine bay as the powerpipe has no spot on the inlet to put it. Car has always been fine!
