valve seals/spring

Can the valve springs be changed without holding the valve up with compressed air? What about the seals?

Yes youll just have to bring the cylinder youre working on up to tdc or close to tdc so the valve cannot fall. This method is actually safter than using compressed air.

I use both, piston on tdc and air. after you try putting keepers on, you will see why it is way easier with air holding valve up

Be sure to cover the oil return holes. It is easy to drop the keepers and they will fall right through those holes.
