Trunk Gas Struts
The hydraulic struts that are supposed to open your trunk for you are going weak on my Mustang. Anyone have some instructions or part numbers?

latemodelrestoration.com may have them or just go to ford and tell them what you need.
To replace them youll see a metal tab/strap looking thing on each end. Pop up that tab with a 90* minipick or a small flat head. Then pull it off the stud. To install the new one just press it on and youre good to go. Shouldnt take but literally a minute to change both. |
