What all would I need to Supercharge...

What all else would I need to put an Eaton M112 Supercharger off an 04 Cobra onto my 02 GT Mustang (pretty much stock). The lot I would be buying would include the S/C, throttle body, intake elbow and belt. I just need to know the parts I would need to get the S/C properly working on my GT.

Thanks.

All while keeping my 2V heads. Don't want to go out and spend an a$$ load of money.

Is it ok to run a non-intercooled 2.1L Kenne Bell on the GT? What's the difference between intercooled and non-intercooled besides $1200. I can run the Non-intercooled with no problems, right?

How much boost can the stock GT's hold up reliably without having to go with forged internals?

Honestly, a lot.

It would probably cost you more than if you just went out and bought a supercharger that is meant to fit your GT.

Tork Tech Inc.

Tork Tech site. HMUSN is very accurate in his claim above, too.

Thing is, I have a buddy who will sell me his old supercharger (he upgraded to a Kenne Bell) for $200 (good deal). He has what I mentioned above so it's kind of hard to refuse.

You may save about $500
You will also have a inefficient blower.

There is a reason that you do not see m112 GT's all over the place.

you will make more power and everything would be better if you got an aftermarket blower for your car. Only nice thing about it is the whine!

Realize aftermarket would make more power but I don't have $4K to spend on a KB.

Tork Tech offers the "Terminator Kit," which is everything you need but the s/c. You could have a supercharger for a tad over $2k if you're really wanting it. I agree with most everyone on here- buying a supercharger kit specifically for your car will yield the best gains- but if you're hell bent on having this, go at it bro.

4000 for a kb... what about centrifugal blowers? they will do more than that eaton. Is it that you just want to have a blower that is mounted on the motor?

4000 for a KB? Which one? I would pick up that m112 and flip it on ebay and make a few hundred bucks

Not really, but it's gotta be a low cash reliable build.

Tork Tek is a waste of money. summit has a vortech kit with everything for $3k. you'll make way better power. Vortech 4FL218-130S - Vortech Centrifugal Supercharger Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com

as for the difference between intercooled and non-intercooled, its horsepower and intake temps. with out the intercooler, your intake temps will be hot, and hard on the motor, so you won't be able to step on the gas much until you get forged internals.

there is no such thing as a cheap, reliable supercharger build. save your cash

So pretty much if im gonna keep the GT for another 40-50K miles then I need to go intercooled? How much harder and how much longer will it take to install?

no time. LOL.. just running pipe. If i were you (since you mentioned cheap) I would find a used procharger or vortech kit and call it a day. they will make more power than your motor can handle with no problem. They are all over the place for 1500 to 2000 bucks.

Everybody keeps saying over and over that the Vortech is going to make more power than the Eaton. Where are you all getting your info? The 3K vortech kit is going to be good for about 350 on a totally stock motor. The Eaton will that easily do that and will tear the Vortech a new asshole in the TQ department.

You post up a POS non-intercooled kit and then explain that a non-intercooled kit will tear his engine up... WTF??
