Mach 1 hood swap

Ok, i have a yellow 99 GT, now before i get it painted the front bumper needs replaced and i just fell in love with the 03 and 04 mach 1 hoods anyway i was wondering if a swap was compatible???? Has anyone done this and might know what i might need or if it would even work?? Im talkin about the shaker hoods just to clarify!!!

To put a shaker system or Mach hood on a GT is a ton of work if you want the hood to be functional. I saw on another forum a pic of a GT with a Mach 1 hood and somebody filled in the hole and just painted the hood to match the rest of the car. It looked pretty sweet like that. But to go through the trouble involved in making a functional shaker/hood on a GT isn't worth the money IMO. And it won't give you any noticeable power gains at all.

The answer is yes you can get everything you need on ebay. With this kit you don't even need a new hood.
