H-Pipe gives low end torque with a lower deaper sound and the X-Pipe gives high end horsepower with a higher pitched (still deap) raspy sound.
I like the Xpipe. I have an off road X, New Headers and some 3 inch Flows. Sounds so f*cken mean! Some people have thought it was super charged X-Pipe FTW

My vote is for the X. You can get the Bassani X on RPMOutlet.com for $461 shipped. It comes with both O/R and catted exstentions. That's where I got mine. :wink

Will look’s like I’m going to do the x-pipe ……? If was going to do the air intake what would be better to do cold air intake or 75mm tb and plenum

man i fucken read the post wrong..
Since you alread have the bassani cat-back, Id go for the X. might as well finish your exhaust system since you already started. you'll get better gains with those two together then just popen a jlt on.

i can't remember where i saw it, but there was a test don with the pp, c&l, dragon, and accufab. the accufab outperformed the others (all 75mmtb) by about 2-3 hp and tq. they all produced a nice increase, though. anything beats stock.
if my dragon plenum weren't ported, i'd go accufab. i love their 75mm tb. i replaced a broken bbk with it a while back. i still might switch to the accufab down the road. |

Accufab has been proven to give the most gains, all tb's and plenums are all within a like 2 hp/tq of each other. Accufab is also all shiny under the hood. Its some nice bling. You get what you pay for though, other places also provide some nice combos if you wanna save some money i mean. I have a C&L plenum and an FRPP 70mm. Its working nicely for me. You aren't gonna feel 2 hp anyway. If you are going to get a supercharger in the future, i've researched get a 75mm. NA there is really no difference between 70 and 75.

i've been told to stay away from PP. Accufab makes really good stuff, and I know a couple guys with the Dragon plenum... they are happy with it.
get both dude.... CAI and plenum and tb. def go for exhaust first tho. H-pipe is my vote

Well I wouldn't go with the x-pipe unless you are gonna put some longtube headers on at the same time because when you decide to get longtubes (which you wll cause shortys suck) you will need to get a new x-pipe. I would chose the intake over the x-pipe if you are not getting headers yet but I would get the K&N Typhoon Intake instead ... I have this on my 04 GT and its amazing!
