Detriot Tru Trac


How many of u guys are running this? does the tru Trac take a beating? i drive my car daily but only 11 miles a day would a SPool be bad for this ? Need a strong diff that car runs 11 seconds with a vortech pushing 400+ and i have full tubular upr suspension in the rear has with spehrical bushings

I run one. I have put 600+ ft.lbs. to it with no problems and I drive it all the time.

so u would say it would take a better beating then my POS auburn diff that i destroyd couple days ago ? will the detriot tru trac carnage like what my auburn pro series did all the cones and clutches are gone !

There aren't any clutches in it to destroy. It's a worm gear lock up system. It can be a little noisy at times if you have spherical mounts on your control arms.

vortech intercooled at 11 lbs making 410 hp 411 tq.. front upr k meber with coilovers, full exuahst, gutted interior, moroso trick springs read upper and lower control amrs with speherical bushings, lake wood 90/10 and 50/50, ford racing 31 spline axles and i had a aburn but just busted it.

i love mine. making 522ftlb of torque, and launching from 6k+ on a 10.5" slick. its held up now for 50+ passes.
