Edelbrock Intake Manafold

Ok....Edelbrock aparently just released a style of the Victor Jr. that will bolt right up to our 4.6...YAY.... But it says that it takes a carburator a plenum and throttel body? So it changes it from fuel injected to carburation? What happen to the fuel injectors? Would it be a power loss or a power gain going from fuel injected to carburation? This was in the new Fast Fords Magazine... Am i confused and not understanding this completly? Help me out.....
