ya'll like what 30 bucks bought me?

Had a buddy buy it brand new, got them hooked up in the car and realized he wanted to go a different route, so i scored haha.

Sold me the fuel pressure gauge and sending unit along with the 3 gauge mount. all for 30 bucks, so im pretty happy, the interior of my GT is charcoal and grey, this things black, but i dont mind it too much.

here it is with my A/F gauge and my oil pressure gauge.

awsome man! i'd been thinkin about getting one for a while. i had ghetto rigged a gauge cluster in place of my heater vents for a while. but now i've got this. cept i still have a nitrous gauge and trans temp gauge. haha

haha i got an oil pressure gauge without a home too. i thought about getting the pods that mounts on the steering column but i dont know if i like them or not ?

yea, not much of a fan of those, i do like the ones that have like 2 gauges down by the actually gauge cluster though (one on the left and right side)

i know exactly which you are talking about. maybe i will end up with one of those. what all does it take to put in that oil pressure gauge? mine is mechanical. is that what you got or no

mines electrical, and by the looks of it, all i gots ta do is hook my sending unit up to the existing oil pressure plug? then run a lead wire to the gauge, hook up a ground, then hook up a power?

yea that was with the fuel gauge. then i gave 50 for one gauge and 55 for the other.

you will need to "t" off the same port with an aftermarket sending unit for your gauge & also keep the factory one. the factory one wouln't run an aftermarket gauge & the ECU needs to see oil pressure from the factory sender.

alright, i think i get it. i need a power, a ground, and nylon tubing for mine. i guess i just get a T fitting for down by the oil filter or something to pick up pressure off of ?

no nylon tubing if you ever plan on going to the track. big no-no for tech, must be hard line (autometer sells a copper line kit for pressure gauges)

very similar stuff he got. his is actually braded stainless. it came with his pyrometer gauge. guess that wouldnt work for what i want ?

go to your autobody paint supply house and they can mix up some interior color for ya, I did that and mine is a perfect match in my car
