Going for my race tune

Well, I have been running a conservative tune to get my new combo broken in. I am going Sept. 3 for my street and race tune. The car ran a 13.1@108 with a 2.2 60' a few weeks ago on this safe tune.

Hoping for some mid to low 12's NA with the new race tune. Will keep ya posted with results and dyno info.

13.1@108.... thats some good MPH.. how bad were your spinning? i bet if you get some decent traction, you will definilty be in the mid to low 12's.. good luck and keep us posted!

what RPM are you launching at?

I launched at 3800. Let me see if I can find the crappy vid from my 13.1 pass against a 2002 SS Camaro...

street tires or drag radials??? five speed?? car sounds really good.

The tires are Kumho V700's (335/35/17's) and yes it's a 5 speed with 4.10's.

thats why i asked if it was a 5 speed first.. i didn't want to look like an ass if you would have said an auto...

I am using SCT software and the tune I have right now is from Ken B @ MD Motorsports. As far as HP, I haven't had a full dyno pull yet. I put it on the dyno and did a WOT pull to 3800 rpms to check A/F and put down 178RWHP and 205 RWTQ.

I am hoping after the full tune to be in the neighborhood of 340 or so. My cams and intake don't really start pulling till 3000 rpms.
