Custom clutch by promotion powertrain FTMFW!
ProMotion Powertrain Give Walt or Wally a call and they will set you up with the right clutch for your combo. And it should definately be broken in first.

Centerforce ftw. I don't like my custom, stiffer than SHIT. Granted it is able to support 700 hp... could be part of the problem :p

What rating did you guys go with? Mine holds awesome, just stiff and hard to dd with on hills when raining. I loved my centerforce more.

I have the orange 500hp rated clutch and its soft and easy on the leg and grips like a mother.
Before the ProMotion clutch I had a Centerforce DFX it didn't last 2k miles before it broke. It was also soft and gripped well before it broke up. The pucks came apart from the rivets, and Centerforce wouldn't cover it because it was installed in my car already, completely trashed my flywheel. I will never buy from them again. Before the CF I had a Ram great clutch held up to everything I could throw at it for well over 2 years but you had to be strong mofo to push the pedal in, and in traffic it was killer on the leg. It just gave up on day in 3rd cruising. King Cobra/OEM style.. They did the job in till I added the power then they quickly gave up. That's when I installed the Ram. Be warned Walt will talk your ear off just a wealth of information about transmissions/clutches.

Boost gets you laid

my fidanza 2.1 has been awesome so far. rated for 500ftlbs and is softer than stock. but its starting to slip now, it can't hold the power the car is making anymore.. well it does ok but slips when i shift into 3rd or 4th really hard. i'm thinking of upgrading but i want as little of pedal effort as possible with the best grip possibly. i only plan on upgrading one last time on the clutch and i want something that will hold whatever i throw at it.

Once again you will get mixed reviews, most people will recommend what they have on their car currently. I have a centerforce df on my car with no problems, can't speak for any of the other options out there since I haven't owned. The only other clutches i've had on my car spec, complete junk and will never buy a spec again.

For my clutch I went with Spec stage 1 from Americanmuscle.com... Took me a day to install. Clutch is Very forgiving and very easy to depress... dont have to stomp on the clutch to shift.
