Stage I cams or full exhaust?

I've been searching the mph forums for a few hours now trying to find the answer - which one puts more hp to the wheels on a mostly stock engine?

I'd like to get one or the other done while my car is at MPH. He has custom grinds made for him by Comp so it'd be that or BBK lt's + prochamber to go in front of my cat-back.

Just get the cams- that is what you want anyway. You can do your exhaust anywhere, anytime..........

Do you know what his cams will do?

I was amazed that basically stock cars with full exhaust, CAI and his tune will put down in the 260's hp and around 290's tq.

But everyone does exhaust first so I haven't found a post yet about starting with cams.

That's about how I see it. Just want to make sure I get the most for my money since either choice costs about the same.

It's one of those things where one helps out the other. I don't really think it matters too terribly which is first, but the combination of the two will be great. Personally I would do the exhaust first for sound reasons, but I know you don't want your Stang too loud, so really it's up to you.
