air fuel gauge


I finished installing the procharger but am running into problems with the air fuel gauge where do the oxegen sensor wires plug into inside the car.

if you got the autometer they plug right into the back of the gauge...other wise I dunno lol

if you are asking where to pick up signal from inside the car you gotta take the passenger side kick panel off and pull the ECU out of the bracket. on the back of it in the big wire mess is a red wire with a black stripe and a grey wire with a blue stripe i think it is. those are the rear oxygen sensor signal wires. the one is pin #87 and the other is like #65 or something (not sure on that pin number but im positive on the color of the wires) tap those two to get your gauge working if you ahve a wide band. if you got a narrow band, tap the red/black wire (#87) its a hell of alot easier to locate/get at to work with

I havnt tried mine yet but I dont remember seeing anything in autometers directions about computer tapping and all that? All I did was ground it, give it 12v switched power and plugged in the 02 sensor

that is another way of doing it. there's more than one way to skin a cat
