There are kits that are basically installing spark plugs in your tail pipes. The spark plugs are on a switch and when the plugs are turned on they ignite the fumes in the exhaust. I'll see if I can find a link.

While this is true, there is another reason that a properly setup turbo will blow fire. I would say that a BOV after the maf is a bad idea on any car.

There is also tuning method to dump fuel on shifts. The purpose is to keep the turbo spooled up. Sometimes retarded timing is used in addition to shoot the burning charge out the exhaust port into the turbo before its done burning. If you keep heat in the turbo, you can keep it spooled. Check out this TT lambo shooting fire! sick car for sure.
