Stripped exhaust manifold stud

So as i was bolting my exhaust back up my effin air gun stripped the top threads on one of my exhaust manifold studs, and now i have this horrible exhaust leak and my car sounds like shite. Any suggestions on how to replace it would be greatly appreciated.

Pull it all apart, and use locking header bolts. I pulled out all of the studs out and used stage 8 locking when i did my header install.

Shit, half my studs came out when i unbolted my manifolds lol.

Wait do you mean bolt for the manifold (to the block) or from the midpipe?

the ones that connect to the midpipe, on the pushrod motors its simple to replace them but on the modulars it looks like i have to pull the motor to get to the studs. I swear, if i have to pull the motor to get to the effin stud im done with modulars and im putting my 351 in it.

If the threads are stripped at the top and still good on the bottom just double nut it and hit it with an impact. May also help to heat it and/or spray it with some pb as well where it threads into the manifold.

why would you ever use an impact wrench to loosen any bolt that goes in the the block or heads? thats bad policy, u should use a breaker bar or somethin next time with a little wd 40 or PB blaster.

is the stud top of the stud itself stripped as well? if not then you can get a 5mm socket on there and then unscrew it to replace it.

Just replace the stud bolt or replace with locking header bolts.
I used regular header bolts and have not had a problem, but I
re tightned them after I let the car run for bout 20 mins
and let it cool down and used metal gaskets also.
