most stage 2's will probably work. i would guess around 5.50 lift or maybe a little more would be about the biggest

i have the hitech stage 2 cams which are 5.45" lift and like them.

Depends on the cam profile. I've been looking into Modular Head Shops info. It's worth the read if you have the time.

i think the comp 270 is the biggest you can go without upgrading valvesprings. pretty much any stage 1 cam will go in, but some stage 2's and bigger require valvesprings to go with them. your best bet is to ask the manufacturer

270's will barely fit as long as they're degreed in, same with CMS/VT Stage 2's. The new version of Hitech Stage 2's and the MHS Stage 2 will fit with no problems.

There is a huge lip on the factory intake valve which can be machined off, or replaced with aftermarket valves, which will give the 270's or CMS/VT's a little more wiggle room. I have a set of the original VT Stage 2's for my car, but will not install them until I can afford to swap out the intake valves, even degreed in, it's about .005 clearance on most engines, which is just a bit too close for my comfort.
