Sharkbait needs help, im stumped.

Ok so today I took my car out for its very first track day. Also happend to be my first day at the track.

Before today if my car got too hot at high rpm and full boost it occasionally feel like im losing power... kinda like its not pulling but rpms are going up. Sometimes it would just do it in little spurts.

Well today it started to do it again but now its after 4200 and its all the way up to 6k. It feels like its stumbling and like i have no power. I am having a hard time describing it but it feels like it just dosnt have any more.

I am thinking its spark blowout but im not sure. I think my plugs are .54 right now. Platnuim plugs.

But i dont know if thats it or not. I cant afford to just change them and see as i am very very broke.

if they are gapped that big then i think you have found your problem. Thats way too much for a blower. .... get it down around the .032-.035 range brutha.

2 Problems. Plats are no no's with boost. And gap is too much, but you can't change plat's gaps since it just smashes the nipple. Swap em out with cheap coppers and you will be good to go!

I run NGK tr6 with no problems. Honestly at 6psi i wouldn't sweat what brand to get, even at 9. Some don't like the ngk's and like champs or autolites.

I realllllly want to try the zex plugs.

im a fan of autolite. autolite 103's are what i used to run. I will say though, that im not running a 2 stage colder NGK plug with no problems so either will be fine!

Baker when do you run a 2 step colder? Any ideas? Never really found out... i know 2 power adders you do, but not sure what boost level you tend to.

If it isnt blow out it is a shitty spark. Plats SUCK bad with boost. Combine it with N/a gap and you are bound to not be getting a good spark.

If it isnt spark blow out (should be replaced regardless) i would say inadequate fuel. Start at fuel filter. Or datalog it at wot would be best option to figure it out.

ryan.... my tuner told me to put them in so that he could get more timing out of it at those power levels. SO i did it. dont really understand all that.

colder plugs decrease knock. Decreased knock means you can add more timing. At least that's how I understand it. You do have to be careful though if you live in colder areas. I have a buddy that has a grand prix gtp with three stages colder plugs and his car won't start if it is below 30 - 35 degrees out.
