So..now I have a P0300
I'm throwing a P0300 code now, which i think is random/multiple cylinder misfire. It just started randomly and now it wont idle it just wants to die so where do i start? spark or fuel, but thats alot of checking.

well that narrows it down, but id like to narrow it down even more. i recently had some idling issues caused by a bad o2 sensor. i replaced them both and the car was running fine, and then driving it for a few hours this happened.

Take your neg terminal off the battery for about 30 seconds and hook it back up. See if that helps at all.

When's the last time you checked/replaced your spark plugs? I would at least inspect each one.

I wouldn't count that as a fluke. Most likely cause is a plug, COP, injector, or fuel filter

How about fuel filter? A clogged fuel filter will make it a little difficult to get the correct amount of fuel. And if it sat all winter the fuel could have gone bad.

Missed the part about sitting all winter. Did you put any kind of fuel stabilizer in it? If not try draining the tank and filling with new

Hopefully it's just some bad gas or fuel filter issue. Fuel filter is easy enough to replace though.

dont you have to take out the tank to get at the fuel filter?

No, it's right there by the fuel tank, no need to drop the tank. Just make sure you disconnect the battery and bleed the line at the schrader valve. Or you can pull the fuse for the fuel pump and start it up until it dies to clear the lines and then disconnect the fuel lines on the fuel filter. I would recommend wearing some goggles to protect your eyes to be safe. Nothing sucks more than getting fuel in your eyes.

No, its sitting under the car between the axle and tank. That is probably one of the causes if you don't know where it is (hasn't been replaced). I would definitely start there. Cheap and very easy. The butt end of our cars are fairly high up, so you might not even have to jack it up to get to it. You will need a fuel disconnecting tool.

IIRC, I believe you need a 3/8s fuel disconnect tool. Or if you don't have one on hand like I did when I installed the blower for a second time on this Bullitt, you can buy a funnel and saw the tip off, cut it long way so you can wrap it around the fuel line and push in to disconnect the line. ...Isn't hillbilly ingenuity great?!

It couldn't hurt depending on how many miles you put on it between now and then. I replaced one on my old Bullitt when I did the blower install and when I tipped it up to drain the residual gas out of it dark fluids were coming out. It was very dirty.
