wait overnight or longer. crack your oil drain plug(do not remove!) till fluid starts to leak. if it is pure oil your good to go, if it is coolant you have a problem

It was sad. I limped the car to the local Dodge dealership with a rod hammering all the way. I lived out in the sticks and they didn't even know what a 426 Wedge was. All the books say that only Hemi's put in that year. The mechanic said he thought it was a 440 with 383 heads. Since I was 19 and mostly broke I had a 440 put in instead of rebuilding it. I had no idea how rare that car really was.

But the moral of the story is don't drive the car if anti-freeze is getting into the oil.
