That is VIS 4 inch carbon fiber hood that the owner painted black because he didn't like the carbon fiber look. He just loved the hood.

How much do you think it will be? I don't really see it being over $50. Could be wrong. Plus is it functional?

To pallet ship it at minimum probably $125 or more. If I can ship gray hound probably cheaper. Price of a bus ticket.

Is the kb too big or just because of brackets cuz I'm pretty sure I've seen eatoned cars that just did a custom bracket.

I am pretty sure you could use the KB with one. Just mount the shaker scoop on top of the twin screw. It'll probably stick out a bit more, but that'd look cool. I woudn't have it functional.

Yeah mine wouldn't be functional either because it won't make sense with a blower.

If you could make it semi functional on a kb that would be BADASS. And by functional i mean blowing air on top of the blower. My only concern with it is water when it rains, then going to both sides of the manifold into the COP plugs.

My vote is mach1 setup

this is a ridiculously tough decision to make.

i have one guy who is willing to trade me the hood for a ho fibertrends hood, and a set of mach 1 seats (IUP) and i'd have to give him $300. I'd obviously sell the seats as i wont need them. he doesn't have money to give me for a trade.

doesn't sound like it'd look that good to me. none of the pics posted are convincing me one way or the other.

not a fan of the wing at all in that pic. if it didn't have the wing it'd look 10x better.

+1 that what my two buddies have done to the eaton mach's but when they go to the track they remove the shaker system to cool the blower.

wonder if they could modify it to make it direct air on the blower? i guess that's what happens when you remove the shaker though.
