mustang vs evo

my buddies friend has a new evo 10 and he wants to run me. hes all stock and i have a tune, intake, header back exhaust, intake plenum, alum fw, 3.73s, short throw and drs. im a pretty good driver but idk how he is. i think he can take me from a dig but idl about a roll. anyone ever raced one?

evos are AWD right? if so you should get him from a dig. from a roll, ive got no clue.

i havent race an EVO X
but i have lost to an EVO Vlll

well i know how to drive and launch my car but idk how fast those things run stock and how good of a driver he is

i took him way to lightly.

there is no replacement for displacement
unless you have a turbo

even with what i have said i wouldnt sweat it.
you said its stock.
i dont think much of the stock ones. (much like people dont think much of stock stangs)
its when there boost is cranked up or they have anti-lag. thats normally when they start pulling some quick times.

yeah its bone stock and i was reading around and the best times i think i saw was like a 13.6 in stock form

Well at least look on the bright side. He payed around $35k for his car.. you payed around 12k. So if you put 23k into your car I am sure you would have no worries beating him.
