should i change out the mac's??

i love the mac's but also like change when it comes to the exhaust. nothing like having a new exhaust setup and sound.

currently i have stock manifolds with o/r x and mac dumps. thinking about going with some dumped dynomax bullets...exhaust will stay dumped as the tires are pretty wide and manifolds will stay stock as i'm going turbo lol...

so just wondering what yall think about some dynomax bullets with o/r x?? should i? or keep mac? cammed as well...and like said, will be going turbo soon

Give it a try. Maybe youll start a trend and everyone will get off the mac bandwagon. Ive come across a few videos with similar dynomax bullet setups and they sounded pretty good.

lol yeah and thats the other thing...not real expensive...

although summit has the same style bullet muffler for 22 bucks...don't see how it could be a big difference with a straight thru muffler...both are packed with fiberglass...

yeah it sounds sick on trevors car which also has o/r x and the same cams but i already have chambered mufflers.

giggle, not sure how much quieter it will get because mine is loud as piss with mac's...

and great point ajm, for only 50 bucks i could give it a try and see. and i would still have the macs if i didn't like

I've heard a lot of people not liking the dynomax bullets dumped. You could always go with a diff muffler. If it weren't so expensive I'd say go with a borla or bassani muffler, with an o/r x they'd sound alright.
