Flowmaster question ('99 cobra)

I just bought a 99 cobra with bbk ceramic coated longtubes, o/r bbk x, and flowmaster catback...anyone running the 10 series on their car, 40's are too quiet, but I love the flowmaster tone

Borla, you'll love it! Flowmaster Makes 2 Chambered Race mufflers... Had them on my GT for about a year, they were loud as hell and sounded good, but, you had to shout over them in the cabin... So I replaced them with Borla's and haven't looked back. I've heard a few cars with the new Supper 44's they sound good, but it's all preference.

scott2001gt is my neighbor and he has lm1's....I dont want to get the same thing as him (hes gay : P ) lol the flowmasters i was looking at are only 1 chambers

he is correct though, best thing for you to do is to youtube different exhaust sounds.

here is a comparison of different brands from 5.0 mag and the DB's that they put out as well as hp and tq. I may just make this into a sticky as well.

@OP: I'm definitely a chambered muffler kinda guy, but if I had a cobra, there'd be an o/r x with stingers.. No fuckin doubt about it.

I dont know if I would put LM1 on a 4v but I wouldn't change my LM1 w/ Prochamber if something was givin to me for free.

I would say Mac or Borla would sound good.

What the hell??? You've got an offroad pipe and the flowmasters are too quiet??? When I put my O/R H-pipe on, with my Flow 40's, I swear you can hear me coming from nearly a mile away (literally)
